• Wheel Key - Please make sure to bring your wheel key, we do not have a master set of wheel keys as there are so many brands on the market there are just simply too many to maintain.

• Know your read end/gear ratio - The dyno works best with this information known ahead of time. As an example let's use a Hellcat's rear gear. We usually like to do pulls in fifth gear. For us to setup the machine appropriately we would need to know what rear gear you have. Most Hellcats have a 2.62 or 3.09 but we will use a 3.09 for this example. This means we would take the known transmission gear ratio for fifth: 1.285 and multiply it by the differential ratio 3.09. This would give us 3.9706 and we would input into the test header for the dyno. If you do not know this information ahead of time that is fine, however we will have to do some testing to get your engine rpm to match your axle rpm.

• Ramp Rate RPM - A hub dyno controls how fast the car will accelerate from a starting RPM to an end RPM. This is highly situational and we will work with you and your tuner to setup the ramp test appropriately. If you have existing testing data or your tuner knows how fast the ramp should be please let us know.

• Please bring items you know you will need - Please make sure you bring what you know you will need that day. Fluids, specialty tools, etc. Although we are co-located with Starck's Performance and Maintenance you are renting our dyno, not the entire shop! Please don't assume I have all the tools you need or the ability to let you borrow a lift (I do not!).

• We do not stock fuel at the shop - Due to safety concerns and Annapolis, MD fire codes we DO NOT STOCK FUEL(s) at the shop. If you know you will need extra fuel please prepare and bring enough for the rental.

• In a pinch, what's in the area? - Within walking distance we have a Napa Auto Parts. There is also an Advanced Auto Parts within a 5 minute driving radius. We can and will go above and beyond to make your experience as great as possible. Since we are co-located with Starck's Performance and Maintenance if they have the capability to provide fluids and accessories, they do so at their RATES and PRICES.

• Social Media Policy - We WILL NOT share your dyno numbers without your consent. However we may ask to take a photo or video of the vehicle on the hub dyno to help promote our social media. If there is anything sensitive about the vehicle in nature due to grudge competition and you do not want photos or videos that is perfecly fine as well. Please let us know ahead of time and we will be mindful not to take video or photos of it. If you would like to help us with our social media outreach, it is appreciated.

• Be mindful of your time!!!!! - After the base package we rent the dyno out on an hourly basis. We usually block out 8 hour days in advance. We highly suggest that you do due dillegence and ensure that your car is ready to go, you will be billed for the time you spend on the dyno regardless of how you spend that time on the dyno. You will be charged hourly from your start time.
